Advanced Cosmetology Academy - 4 Weeks
Elevate your personal techniques and engage in a one month course dedicated to educate, inspire and prepare you for a successful and lucrative career. Henna Tattoo
Henna tattooing is now the hottest new trend among young women, men and children. It is a temporary, pain free body ornamentation alternative to tattooing that lasts 1 to 3 weeks. Henna is a term for a small flowering shrub that grows in North Africa, Middle Eastern Countries and India and is used to decorate various parts of the body, traditionally the hands and feet. The art of Henna painting has been around since the 15th century symbolizing good luck and prosperity.
This class will explore the history of Henna painting and provide an overview of the most important symbolic patterns.

Advanced Airbrush Make-up
Prerequisite: Introduction to Airbrush Make-up or equivalent make-up background.
Elevate your airbrush techniques with this class in advanced color theory. Develop the skill to create a custom blend that will properly match your client’s skin tone. Become proficient at advanced techniques and learn the proper application to camouflage challenged skin that requires intense coverage such as tattoo, pigmentation, and sun damage. In addition you will learn the effective and time efficient steps to airbrush on colors for contour, blush and eye shadow in less than 1 minute.
Certificate is granted at completion of class.

Introduction to Airbrush Make-up
Airbrush make-up is the fastest growing aspect of the beauty business today. It is already being requested by TV and movie personalities as well as the general public in cutting edge salons worldwide.
Airbrush make-up will last the whole day. It creates a virtually flawless look, blends beautifully and feels like you’re not wearing make-up at all. All colors are FDA approved, are fully hypo allergenic and safe to use. The application can be adjusted to be very soft and light or heavier to cover tattoos, freckles, birthmarks and other blemishes.
Once you have mastered the techniques you will have an advantage over the make-up artists who don’t offer airbrushing. It will expand your creative abilities beyond the sponge and hand brush techniques. You will be amazed at the accuracy and speed of each application.

Eyelash Extensions
Eyelash extensions have become the latest Hollywood trend and the fastest way for you to enhance the service you provide your clients! Eyelash extensions are a cosmetic process where synthetic and natural threads are applied to create a fuller, longer look. Aiming for an authentic, natural feel, they come in various lengths, colors and thicknesses and can be worn during sleep, showering and swimming. Eyelash extensions differ greatly from "fake" eyelashes as they are applied one extension to one lash; they can last for two to six weeks, and have a natural appearance.
Learn the proper procedures to be an Eyelash Extensionist in one day! Certification is granted to those who qualify and pass the application requirement. Model is required for hands on application practice and examination.

Professional Make-up Artistry Accelerated Course
Make-up Artistry is in high demand and a very rewarding field of the Beauty Industry. Our Academy is the first to partner with the internationally acclaimed Make-up Designory Academy to offer their “Beauty Make-up Artistry” course. In addition we are the only beauty school outside of Los Angeles and New York to offer a professional make-up course. Students use products from MUD (Make-up Designory). The course includes bridal, photography, camouflage, air brush, and concludes with a professional photo shoot with models and the start of a portfolio.
This course opens up an enormous world of opportunities for someone in the cosmetic or beauty industry providing professionals with increased earning potential and a career that is both exciting and rewarding.
This course is now offered over 8 weeks on Sundays.

We welcome you to a creative hair and make-up collection produced by The Academies’ Artistic Director, Diego Raviglione. The class will take you on a journey of the creative process as the design team collaborates from concept to realization. You will witness and discuss the trials, tribulations and triumphs our artistic team experienced throughout the creative process and will learn how to translate inspiration into a collection of current, wearable hair and make-up. Experience The Edge in a two day academy led by Diego Raviglione.
